
2008 Speed, Agility, Quickness
The Rochester Soccer Club would like to invite all RSC players to attend and participate in our newest program to augment and accelerate player development, Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ). This club supported training is free to all RSC players. Players should wear indoor training gear and bring plenty of water.
Weekly SAQ training sessions will develop and improve all players’ motor skills with and without a ball by fine tuning individual balance and core strength. Proper warm-ups and cool downs will be taught to insure players have a better understanding of how to prepare themselves for games and training and at the same time how to recover quickly post game. Emphasis will be on plyometrics, speed training drills, agility training, soccer specific conditioning and balance training. Agility ladders, speeds hurdles, obstacle courses, weighted balls and much more are available for all sessions.
RSC Technical Director, Jeff Shuk, will be providing the coaching and demonstrations of allSAQmodules. RSC staff coaches will also assist in SAQ training.
SAQ will be held at the Auburn Golf Dome located on Opdyke Rd, south of M59. Please contact the RSC office at least two days prior to the beginning of SAQ.
