RSC Technical Directors
Gordon Gardiner
As a youngster in Scotland, Gordon played as a 4 year starter on his Varsity High School program, with this came the recognition of playing for his county team (State) for two years. Gordon played a high level of club and junior soccer with his highest honor being a junior Scottish Cup winners medal.
Shortly after trials with several professional clubs, Gordon had an injury that would virtually finish his chances of playing pro soccer.
At 21 years of age Gordon moved to England and played in the semi pro leagues there for several years. After he stopped playing at the tender age of 32, Gordon moved to Leeds where he quickly got involved with a local club and soon became its Coaching Director. Shortly after this Gordon applied for a coaching staff position at Leeds United Football Club where he worked for 3 years.
Gordon worked for the Troy Soccer Club before joining the RSC in a free transfer. Gordon has worked in all aspects of the RSC, ranging from coaching Elite teams to our RYSL summer camps.
